 ~ Director

Marjorie Slinn's life is centred around music. For the past 43 years, she has been the Director of Music at Stamford United Church in Niagara Falls. In this capacity, she is the Organist and directs 3 Vocal choirs as well as 3 Handbell choirs which started in 1980. She also has her own music studio, teaching students in piano, theory and pipe organ. In her spare time, she loves to travel and also finds time for cross stitching-two things she can even combine! She is a very proud Mom to four grown children, and delights in ten grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.


Sharon Shantz ~ Accompanist

Sharon graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an Honours Bachelor of Music Education with a major in piano; she also has her Performers ARCT.  For the past thirty-five years, Sharon has been involved with the Music Ministry at Bethany Community Church, St. Catharines, where her husband is the pastor.  She enjoys teaching private piano students at her home and at Bethany School of Music and Art.  Besides her love of music, Sharon also loves to teach women's Bible Studies.  Sharon and her husband have five grown daughters and two grandchildren who all live in the area.


Breanne Doekes~ Assistant-Director

Born and raised in St. Catharines, Breanne Doekes began singing at age 3, playing piano at age 5, and writing songs at age 8. She performed her first concert with Canadian Singer/Songwriter Amy Sky at only 10 years of age. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Music in Vocal and Operatic Performance from the University of Western Ontario in 2010. Breanne is currently in high demand in the Niagara region as a voice teacher and coach. She directs two award-winning Glee choirs at the Niagara Conservatory of Music. Breanne is also affiliated with the Songwriter Circle in New York City, performing at the Bitter End several times. In her spare time, she loves to travel with her husband - and is a proud Mom to an adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix puppy!
